Don’t expect Don Lemon to ever moderate a presidential debate. Because he can’t even handle a panel discussion on his nightly “news” show.
Lemon proved once again that his infotainment program has devolved into a WWE-style steel-cage match because he has no control over his guests.
On Monday, Lemon again lost his patience on air while trying to moderate a discussion between Republican strategist Mike Shields and Hillary Clinton’s former advisor, Neera Tanden.
Shields and Tanden discussed the special election in Georgia’s 6th district between Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff. Handel won the election, which fills the House seat vacated by Tom Price, who’s now the Health and Human Services Secretary.
Shields slammed Ossoff as an inexperienced carpet-bagger who doesn’t even live in the district he’s running to represent. In response, Tanden called the attacks unfair.

When the discussion devolved into a shouting match, Lemon threatened to end the segment (something he usually does to conservatives he disagrees with):
Stop, stop, stop! Let’s stop! Let’s stop! Let’s stop! When I need to get in or I’m gonna end the segment!
It doesn’t do any good when both of you are talking over each other, when you don’t listen to the moderator. The people at home don’t get anything out of it. I’m here to ask you questions and to moderate this because I’m trying to get some answers and I’m trying to help the people at home come to some understanding about what’s going on.
This isn’t the first time Don Lemon has embarrassed himself with his unprofessional, amateurish behavior. Lemon has raised eyebrows for getting drunk on live TV during CNN’s New Year’s Eve show.
The race-baiting Lemon has also repeatedly carried water for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton while accusing President Trump of being racist and colluding with Russians despite no evidence.
In April, Lemon was slammed for cavalierly dismissing reports that Obama’s former national security adviser Susan Rice was behind the illegal unmasking of Trump team members. That news was confirmed by multiple media outlets.
It’s these kinds of gaffes that led President Trump to declare: “This Don Lemon is perhaps the dumbest person in broadcasting.”

Meanwhile, Twitter unloaded on Lemon over his latest childish temper tantrum.

This is why Americans hate our media. It’s a circus… this time about a single special election for one congressional seat.

Someone better get him a drink. Just be sure to keep him away from the body piercing studio afterwards.
