CIA Director Mike Pompeo sparked a round of laughter at President Trump’s cabinet meeting.
The former Kansas congressman remarked that he wasn’t going to say “a damn thing in front of the media” during the televised White House roundtable on Monday, drawing laughs from other cabinet members and the president.
“Mr. President, it’s an honor to serve as your CIA director,” Pompeo said.
“It’s an incredible privilege to lead the men and women who are providing intelligence so that we can do the national security mission, and in the finest tradition of the CIA, I’m not going to say a damn thing in front of the media,” he added.

“Hear, hear,” someone could be heard saying in the background.
The public meeting began with comments from Trump followed by remarks by the Cabinet members, who mostly praised the president and thanked him for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
Pompeo was appointed by Trump as director of the Central Intelligence Agency in January.
