Octogenarian senator John McCain has lost his damn mind.
That’s the longtime consensus among liberals, and now increasingly among conservatives, who are fed up that McCain trashes President Trump whenever he wants to make headlines.

Proving that he’s the grand poobah of Capitol Hill RINOs (Republicans in name only), McCain once again threw Trump under the bus when asked by a liberal foreign newspaper if American leadership was stronger under Barack Obama than under Trump.
“As far as American leadership is concerned, yes,” McCain told the Guardian. The six-term senator was outraged last week when Trump criticized London’s Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, after he blithely told Londoners there’s “no reason to be alarmed” after the U.K. suffered its third terrorist attack in three months.
As it is, Trump was merely responding to previous nasty attacks by Khan, who had slammed the president’s temporary travel ban to stem terrorism.

McCain was more upset at Trump’s brash Twitter rhetoric than at the Islamic terrorists who killed innocent people. When asked about Trump’s tweet, McCain claimed it sent the message that the United States doesn’t want to lead anymore. “What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said.
Any rational person would interpret Trump’s tweet as sending the exact opposite message: He’s saying there IS reason to be alarmed by weekly terrorist attacks, and we need to act NOW.
Specifically, Trump has vowed: “We will win this fight against terrorism. We will destroy ISIS and we will protect civilization.”
While John McCain is busy trashing Trump over his blunt rhetoric, he obviously forgot that he has insulted foreign leaders in far more dangerous ways. The saber-rattling RINO is deathly afraid to offend Muslims, but has no problem tweaking the nose of deranged North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, whom he called a “crazy fat kid.”
And they say Trump has a way with words? John McCain just called U.S. nemesis a ‘crazy fat kid’ https://t.co/bxeAiQrNOR pic.twitter.com/qZ1gNyZdsz

Kim Jong Un—who daily threatens U.S. ally South Korea with missile launches—was enraged by McCain’s childish jab, and promised revenge on anyone who insults him. In a statement, North Korea (DPRK) vowed:
The revolutionary forces of the DPRK, with its nuclear force for self-defense as its pivot, will fulfill its sacred mission of devotedly defending its supreme leadership … by dealing a merciless sledge-hammer blow at those daring to hurt the dignity of the supreme leader.”
After learning that he had angered North Korea—which is an existential threat to the United States because it has nuclear weapons—McCain moronically tweeted: “What, did they want me to call him a crazy skinny kid?
Meanwhile, Twitter smacked down McCain for his inane statement declaring the weak-willed Obama a strong leader. If foreign leaders liked Obama more than Trump, it’s only because he was a pushover who let our enemies literally get away with murder.
McCain is an undocumented Democrat!

John McCain is a disgrace. For any Republican office holder to praise the disastrous Obama years is an affront to all patriotic Americans
