In a reversal of fortunes, an apparent Donald Trump supporter was escorted off a plane and to the boarding gate.
…while the crowd chanted, “Lock him up!”
In a display of President Donald Trump’s worldwide appeal, an elderly man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat allegedly tried to take another passenger’s seat while boarding United Airlines flight 187 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, NBC affiliate KNTV reported.

The flight to Newark, New Jersey, was delayed several hours and later rerouted to San Francisco International Airport after the man refused to move and grew increasingly disruptive when asked to exit the aircraft, according to the NBC affiliate.
Passengers were forced to de-plane in Shanghai and a spokesman for United Airlines said the unruly man “eventually left the aircraft on his own accord.”
And that’s when he was greeted with chants of “Lock him up,” which is reminiscent of the chant often heard at Trump campaign rallies in reference to Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.
