Candace Cameron Bure took on a famous drag queen to defend herself and her faith against hateful remarks made about her on social media.

A photo Bure posted of herself on Instagram Thursday, wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Not Today Satan” set off a barrage of comments slamming the 40-year-old “Fuller House” star for being a hypocrite.

Bianca Del Rio, who used the phrase during the sixth season of the reality TV series “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” reposted the photo of Bure. Del Rio, who was born Roy Haylock, sells merchandise online that features the slogan and is using the phrase as the name of an upcoming tour.

“If only this homophobic Republican knew,” the caption to Del Rio’s post read. Immediately, the entertainer’s fans began to attack Bure on her page, slamming her look as hypocritical for a conservative Christian.

But the actress was determined to set the record straight and fired off a response on Instagram.

“You don’t know me or my heart,” the former “View” host wrote in a comment that was shared by Del Rio on Instagram.
