Man uses ‘the force’ to stop knife-wielding stepdaughter

The force was strong with him that day.

When a 17-year-old South Carolina girl went after her stepfather armed with two knives — one in each hand — she didn’t realize she was dealing with a Jedi knight.

When the Rock Hill resident saw the attack unfold, he grabbed the first thing at hand — his trusty lightsaber, according to the Charlotte Observer.

After interviewing witnesses, local police arrested the girl, identified as Kayla Knapp.

They claim that when an argument ensued between the two, Knapp pulled the knives from a stand with the intention of slashing her stepfather, whose name hasn’t been released.

The man defended himself by striking her several times with the plastic toy lightsaber until the fracas drew to a close.

Knapp, obviously under control of the force’s dark side, was eventually charged with “high and aggravated” assault and battery.

Folks on social media ate it up.
