Sen. Cory Booker must have a really short memory.
The New Jersey Democrat called for the “fight” to continue following the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as President Donald Trump’s new Secretary of Education. In a message promising to keep the fight going, Booker addressed “all who are angry or frustrated about today’s vote,” referring to the Senate confirmation of DeVos after Vice President Mike Pence cast a historic tie-breaking vote in her favor.
To all who are angry or frustrated about today’s vote confirming DeVos, please know: the vote may be over, but our fight must continue. pic.twitter.com/QHFveiRv9d

There was just one problem with Booker’s anti-DeVos posturing.
remember when you gave a speech at DeVos’s school privatization org and called it “incredible” https://t.co/tKLJLBNT8a

Democrats like @SenBookerOffice now claim to reject billionaire Betsy Devos, but they helped pave the road for her https://t.co/1P01MFmxWq

Did Booker forget or did he think no one would notice?
@charlescwcooke Somehow the Democrats have no existing knowledge that their idiotic remarks live on with the help of electronic devices.

“The fight.” Booker worked with DeVos and called her organization “incredible.” He used to speak at her events, too. https://t.co/xOXNBVG7wS

@adamjohnsonNYC I can’t tell if Booker thinks we’re alll stupid or is in a very desperate way trying to outrun the inevitable

@SenBookerOffice You have no morals whatsoever. You praised her until she became part of Trump’s team. Your words have no value, nor do you.
