A bridal shopping trip turned ugly as Omarosa Manigault was harassed while searching for bridesmaids dresses.
The White House confirmed on Monday that Manigault, an assistant to President Donald Trump and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, had to be escorted to her car by security after being confronted by two women on Saturday, the Washington Post reported.

Manigault, who was shopping for dresses with her five bridesmaids at Tyson’s Corner Center in Virginia, told employees at Nordstrom that she had been harassed by two unidentified women.
“These fat ladies won’t stop following me,” Manigault informed the department store staff, according to a source who told the Post, “They were letting her having it.”
If she weren’t a Trump aide, headline would have been “Black woman with cane harassed by haters” https://t.co/dbNtqSGmzH

Security tried to defuse the situation that only escalated, with one of the woman allegedly called Manigualt “Trump’s whore.” Manigault, who is walking with a cane and an orthopedic boot due to an injury last month, was escorted to her car by security.

Nordstrom told the Post that the other two women were asked to leave the store in the high-end mall and complied.

Manigault, who joined Trump’s political campaign last summer as the head of African-American outreach, starred in the debut season of “The Apprentice.”
The 43-year-old bride-to-be is an ordained minister and got engaged to Florida Pastor John Allen Newman last summer. Manigault will appear in an upcoming episode of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress,” according to the Post.

@brithume @washingtonpost One more reason to #BoycottNordstrom I am appalled @Nordstrom would allow this.

@RealTessStewart @brithume @Nordstrom The harassers should have been escorted out immediately. No excuse for their behavior.

@brithume @washingtonpost So, Omarosa is the One Being Harassed, and She’s the One Asked to Leave the Store? Isn’t that a Kick in the Head!
