President Donald Trump had a ready answer to Madonna‘s stated desire of “blowing up the White House,” calling the aging pop star “disgusting.”
Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity” Friday night, the president not only commented on Madonna’s remarks last week at the anti-Trump feminist march, but also referenced a “couple of others” — see Ashley Judd.
“Honestly, she’s disgusting,” Trump said. “I think she hurt herself very badly. I think she hurt the whole cause. I thought her, and a couple of others. But I thought she was in particular—I thought what she said was disgraceful to our country.”
Saying something that would likely land a lesser mortal in jail, Madonna said: “Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won’t change anything.”
Trump also took serious issue with former “Saturday Night Live” writer Katie Rich, who attacked his 10-year-old son on Twitter, saying the child could be the “country’s first homeschool shooter.”
“A person from ‘Saturday Night Live’ was terrible,” he said. “I don’t mind some humor but it’s terrible.”
The president also let on that young Barron may be aware of the inexcusable remark.
“For them to attack, for NBC to attack my 10-year-old son… it’s a disgrace,” he said. “It’s not an easy thing for him. Believe me.”
