President Donald Trump was a busy man on his first official day in office and even found time to update his Facebook page.
In a move that suggests social media will remain an important tool for the 45th president, the profile photo of Trump’s Facebook page was changed to an image of him looking out a window from inside the White House.
The change took place a little over an hour after being sworn in and the only thing missing was a banner that read: New sheriff in town!
The president also left this inspiring message to the folks:
“So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words:
You will never be ignored again!”
Consistent with that theme, Trump posted an image of himself walking out to be sworn in, along with the caption:
“January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. Thank you, America!”
