President Donald Trump is an excellent golfer who has been hailed “the best-ever golfer president” by Golf Digest magazine.
Eric Trump proudly tweeted his dad’s cover, which hailed the elder Trump as “Golfer-in-Chief.” The president-elect retweeted the photo.

“Sixteen of the past 19 presidents have played golf, but Trump is the best and most passionate golfer among them,” Golf Digest wrote.
The Trump Organization owns more than a dozen high-end golf courses around the world. The billionaire has a 2.8 handicap, making him one of the best golfers in Washington, D.C., according to Golf Digest.
Former president Barack Obama is also an avid golfer who played hundreds of rounds of golf during his two-term presidency while the world fell apart around him.

“He played more golf last year than Tiger Woods,” Trump said at a rally in December 2015.
An elite Maryland golf club that Obama reportedly wants to join may reject him, citing his anti-Israel policies.
Members of the mostly Jewish Woodmont Country Club don’t want Obama there after he recently allowed the United Nations to condemn Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

One official in a Washington Jewish organization said perhaps Obama would be more comfortable at an openly anti-Semitic golf club:
“If there is a club that excludes Jews, he would probably be more comfortable around those folks,” the official said.
