With the former Democratic presidential nominee making few appearances since losing the election,  New York Times senior politics editor Carolyn Ryan was quick to post about a sighting of Clinton on Tuesday.

Unfortunately for Ryan, her choice of words earned her some scathing responses on Twitter.

But National Review’s Jim Geraghty saw the gold in Ryan’s tweet.

A wave of creative responses followed Geraghty’s lead.
