‘I think it’s ridiculous’: Trump’s not buying Russia’s interference in the election, and he’s not budging

In an exclusive interview with “Fox News Sunday,” President-elect Donald Trump dismissed reports that Russia intervened in the election to help him as “ridiculous.”

Citing anonymous sources, the Washington Post reported on Friday that the Central Intelligence Agency presented to some members of Congress evidence from a secret assessment that showed Russia intervened in the November election to help Trump win.

And while the newspaper determined that the CIA concluded as much, Langley has produced no official evident to substantiate the claim.

Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Trump to respond to the claims.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump replied. “I think it’s just another excuse. I don’t believe it.”

He added that there is a different excuse each week from his critics.

“I don’t know why,” Trump said. “… Every week it’s another excuse. We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College.”

“No, I don’t believe that at all.”
