Liberal media are withholding whiners who refuse to give President-elect Donald Trump credit for anything.
That’s how Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, assessed the media’s reporting of Trump saving 1,100 Carrier jobs.
Bozell said mainstream media is condemning Trump for keeping Carrier from moving to Mexico, but would have fainted if President Obama had accomplished the same feat.
“If Barack Obama had done this before stepping into the White House, there would be smelling salts being passed all over New York City,” said Bozell.
Bozell is disgusted by the hypocrisy. “If I’m a journalist covering this issue, why am I not covering the fact that the President-elect succeeded?” he told Neil Cavuto in a video posted by NewsBusters.
“The president who is stepping down ridiculed him for this. That’s a real story. And you’re not going to see that covered anywhere. Fox had it, but nobody else had it.”
Bozell was referring to how President Obama had mocked Trump’s vow to keep jobs in the United States, saying it was impossible.
Obama taunted Trump at a rally for Hillary Clinton by saying: “What magic wand do you have? … The answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.”
Bozell said Trump is in for a bumpy presidency because it’s obvious the media will warp and skew their coverage to minimize anything he accomplishes.
“Anything [Trump] does is going to generate this kind of response from the press from here on out,” Bozell warned. “For the next four years or eight years, if there’s an accomplishment, they’re just going to minimize it.”
By now, the public is well aware of the bogus, biased news coverage by mainstream media after Wikileaks emails showed that they colluded with Hillary Clinton’s campaign to get her elected.
Of course, that gambit didn’t work. And it won’t going forward, either, because 94% of the public now say they do not trust the media.
