Oops! CNN apologizes to Trump team after news crew is caught joking about Trump’s plane crashing

A CNN crew fantasized about President-elect Donald Trump’s plane crashing while setting up for his announcement that he negotiated a deal that would keep 1,000 Carrier Corporation jobs from going to Mexico.

Formal complaint filed with FEC alleges Jill Stein’s stunt nothing more than a front for Hillary Clinton

While CNN Correspondent Suzanne Malveaux and her crew were setting up sound levels and discussing how the live broadcast would be played in Indianapolis, a producer can be heard off-camera telling her what signal she would give after Trump’s plane safely landed.

She followed that up with what was meant to be a “joke.”

She apparently made another signal and said, “That means his plane’s crashed.”

It sounded like she quickly added, “I’m kidding” as she and Malveaux  had a laugh seconds before the live broadcast.

After the clip made the rounds on the internet, CNN offered the following response:

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday. We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.”
