Hillary’s reason for recount is all about 2020, ‘sources close to Clinton say’

Is it too soon to start planning for a 2020 White House bid?

Not if you are Hillary Clinton, apparently.

Despite a rousing defeat in the 2016 presidential election, not to mention a failed run in 2008, the former Democratic presidential nominee is rumored to be keeping her “options open” for another shot at the Oval Office in 2020, TheBlaze reported.

Clinton supporter and a member of the White House press corps, Ron Fournier, posted the tidbit Monday on Twitter.

Of course, his followers were intrigued and questioned the source of the information.

Fournier cited “sources close to” the former secretary of state.

Would voters and supporters be willing to go another round for the embattled Clinton? Would the Democratic Party, which presumably would have taken some steps to recovery four years from now, want to back her again?

Clinton in 2020 is completely possible, according to RedState’s Streiff:

“You can never go wrong by betting on Bill or Hillary Clinton to engage in craven opportunism. Third, the DNC is owned and operated by the Clintons. It is staffed by Clinton loyalists. It floats on cash raised by the Clinton fundraising apparatus. As we saw this year, if Hillary Clinton decides to put in her dentures, pull on her Depends, and make another White House run in 2020, no one in the DNC is going to stand in her way.”

But along with Clinton’s leaked emails and many scandals, she was as wildly unpopular as Donald Trump with many voters.

Twitter users were not quick to embrace the idea or its credibility. And a new campaign slogan was also birthed.
