Parents of coddled college students will be happy to know their hard-earned money is being well spent.
Hampshire College in Massachusetts has removed all American flags from campus after a group of students set one on fire the day before Veterans Day to protest racism, sexism, Islamophobia, and homophobia in the United States.
The school’s president said, “No American flags will be flown on campus. Getting rid of the flag will enable us to focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors,” Tucker Carlson reported.
Student Daniel Vogel told Carlson that he supports the flag removal because Old Glory is a symbol of the United States, which he believes oppresses minorities, women, Muslims, Jews, gays and everyone else except for straight white men, apparently.

“Think about the groups that use the flag, from police officers to the U.S. Army, these are the forces on the ground that make oppression happen,” Vogel said.
An annoyed Carlson lashed back: “If the police and the Army would go away, sensitive college students like you would be eaten alive!”
Carlson then asked why it’s always rich kids from expensive private schools like Hampshire College — where tuition runs $62,000 a year — that complain about American “oppression,” at which point Vogel’s arguments fell apart.
“You never see anybody at a trade school burning the American flag,” Carlson noted. “You think at your average HVAC repair school they’re burning the flag?”
Carlson was widely applauded on Twitter for his on-air smack-down of the clueless college student.
“Tucker Carlson absolutely OWNS Anti-Flag student,” one person tweeted. “Tucker, where do you find these LOSERS?”
