Trump disses traveling press, starts rally early while reporters whine that they’re stuck ‘in a van’

Donald Trump’s traveling press was up in arms when the Republican presidential nominee kicked off a campaign rally without them.

Trump took the stage early at a rally in North Carolina Thursday while the press pool was still trying to get to the venue by bus.

Rather than gather the crowds at the airport, Trump held the event at the Cabarrus Arena and the accompanying press pool arrived 15 minutes late.

This isn’t the first time the press has cried over the Republican presidential nominee starting without them.

In September, Trump’s press pool was late to a New Hampshire rally when they were caught in traffic en route from a different airport.

But in the final days of the campaign, it seems Trump is not worried about catering to the traveling journalists or their sensitive feelings.

Plenty of Twitter users were not buying the press pool’s self-pity.
