After giving birth in June, Chelsea Clinton is back on the stump to help get mom elected and Friday proved to be a busy day for her.
Not only did Clinton engage in the prerequisite attack on GOP rival Donald Trump for his “sexist” and “misogynistic” criticism of her mother, Hillary, she also sat down with the ladies on ABC’s “The View.”
Her appearance on the daytime talk show was clearly to address Hillary’s untrustworthy reputation… and Whoopi Goldberg was only to happy to assist with a set up that makes Stockton-to-Malone pale in comparison.
(On a side note, Whoopi, that new hair style ain’t cutting it, girl!)
“One of the biggest critiques of your mom made by lots of people who don’t know her or who have not met her is that she is untrustworthy,” Whoopi began. “As a daughter, when you hear that, knowing all the things you’ve sort of had to deal with your parents but particularly with your mom, how do you feel when you hear that?”
Chelsea was then given the floor uninterrupted for nearly 2 minutes to sing her mother’s praises, with “The View” ladies hanging on her ever word.
Of course, she began by saying “there’s no one I trust more than my mom.”
“I said something publicly which I realized I hadn’t said before but is so deeply, deeply true, that if God forbid if anything were to happen to Mark and me, my mother would take care of my children,” Clinton added. “There’s no greater vote of trust and faith and love than that. So as a daughter, it doesn’t make sense to me.”
She went on to say “I’ve heard these attacks for so long,” referencing her father’s opponent questioning her mother’s trustworthiness in 1968 when her dad was running for reelection as governor of Arkansas.
Chelsea paused long enough in telling the story to commiserate with far-left moonbat Joy Behar after acknowledging that she was an only child.
“I didn’t have any sisters, Joy, you weren’t in my life yet,” Clinton said.
