The first forum with presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton next week will be hosted by none other than NBC’s “Today Show” host Matt Lauer.
The one hour “Commander-in-Chief Forum,” presented by NBC News and MSNBC with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, will feature Lauer interviewing the nominees separately as they answer questions from an audience made up mainly of military veterans and active service members.
Breaking: Matt Lauer has been chosen to moderate the first-ever forum featuring Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump on September 7 in NYC.

The NBC host was listed as a “notable past member” on the Clinton Global Initiative’s website, according to The Blaze which noted that journalists were classified as guests and were not required to pay the $20,000 invite-only CGI membership fee.
Meanwhile, a liberal Lauer hosting an event put on by left-leaning MSNBC doesn’t add up to an unbiased platform for Trump, but it will make for interesting viewing. Social media users were quick to catch on.
Wonder what the liberals would say if the next forum were hosted by Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh?

@JoeConchaTV Will Matt be able to quit kissing HRC ass long enough to ask her any of the questions she will have seen ahead of time anyway?

@JoeConchaTV No way in hell. Read his connections to the Clinton Foundation. Are we so stupid to believe in this happening. No thanks.

@JoeConchaTV Does he get to wear his “Clinton Global Initiative” t-shirt? Was Stephanopoulos too busy helping Huma move to do it?…

@JoeConchaTV so here we go again. Change to forum instead of debate and you get a biased Clinton lacky to mod. They don’t think we notice.

@JoeConchaTV Why not get George Stephanopoulos, Candy Crowley and young media savant Chelsea Clinton and further stack the panel?
— Leonard P. Cary (@LeonardPCary) September 1, 2016
@JoeConchaTV. I think Trey Gowdy would be a better moderator.
