Social media users can’t seem to get enough of Anthony Weiner.
The former Democratic New York congressman was busted for sexting again, prompting his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, to slap him with a separation.
Though Weiner has apparently deleted his Twitter account, other Twitter users had plenty to say about the bombshell reports.
Reactions included sympathizing and commiserating with Abedin, and plenty of references to Beyonce’s “Lemonade,” performed with coincidental timing on MTV’s Video Music Awards.

I respect Huma for trying to work it out after one dalliance. Also respect her for recognizing when to call it quits.#WhatAWeiner

Really glad Huma Abedin felt she could finally separate from Weiner now that the Good Wife is cancelled.

Beyonce performs Lemonade at the VMAs, Huma Abedin leaves Anthony the next morning. Coincidence? I think not.

Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without bringing Donald Trump into the Twitter discussions.
Trump can’t even say “people are saying” when it comes to links between Weiner and Clinton’s email scandal. No one is saying. Just him.

Twitter users were also discussing the media coverage of the fallout.
Find the sentence in this WaPo piece that may be the worst thing written about the Anthony Weiner situation: pic.twitter.com/0whFJPeYa3

I am confident that cable coverage of weiner-huma will represent worst of tv journalism

@DemFromCT They do keep lowering the bar. Impressive, in its own way.

Terrible Weiner Reporting Casts Cloud Over New York Times. https://t.co/3p5uOZiggI
— Joan Walsh (@joanwalsh) August 30, 2016
Reporters talking about Abedin’s career possibly ending because Weiner cheated says everything about those reporters & nothing about Abedin.

Seems there will be plenty to keep social media occupied with Weiner for a while.
