Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is about to show us his moves.
The two-time Republican presidential candidate is scheduled to join the cast of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” for Season 23 along with other celebrities including recording artist Vanilla Ice.

The season premieres Monday, Sept. 12 and will also include Olympians Laurie Hernandez and Ryan Lochte, Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick and former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.
News of Perry’s upcoming gig was confirmed by Entertainment Tonight on Monday and quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. Many on social media thought this was the best news ever.
