‘American Sniper’ wife Taya Kyle will zero in on military issues on the Fox News Channel.
Kyle, the widow of the late “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle and military veterans activist, has joined the Fox News family to provide programming commentary, according to a statement issued Monday from the cable news network.
Kyle accepted the challenge and took off running. On Monday, she weighed in on the issue of military leaders on “Fox & Friends.”

The network announced:
FOX News Channel (FNC) has hired “American Wife” author and military veteran family activist Taya Kyle as a contributor, the network announced today. In this role, Kyle will provide military and family commentary across FNC’s daytime and primetime programming.
Kyle, wife of the late United States Navy Seal and American Sniper author Chris Kyle, is the founder of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF). Established to honor the life and legacy of her late husband, CKFF helps to empower the families and marriages of military service members and first responders.
An advocate for military families and American women, Kyle has also worked alongside the Patriot Tour, traveling the country to teach lessons of grief, faith and love to those in need.
Kyle has appeared often on the cable news network in the past. The network’s statement indicates that its executives liked what they saw in her and wanted to make it all official — and more permanent.
