Not that it’s all about her, but socialite Paris Hilton is terrified ISIS may come after her because … well, she’s famous.
The Hilton hotel heiress told Spain’s Diario de Ibiza that recent attacks by Islamic State terrorists are “terrible” and she worries that she could be next because of her celebrity status — a status obtained in large part because of a “leaked” 2001 sex tape.
“I’m constantly moving around from one country to another, and I’m a famous person who could be a definite target for an attack, and that is something that sometimes terrifies me,” she told the newspaper.
“What’s happening is horrible,” Hilton added. “The recent attacks in Nice and Germany are terrible. It’s something that disgusts and worries me. I travel a lot and I get frightened when I think about things like this.”
And while she may be frightened, that doesn’t mean Hilton is afraid.
“I’m also a very free person who tries not to be afraid of anything,” the party girl said. “I just make sure I always watch my back. I always go out alone and without security. Many celebs have 10 bodyguards but I like to go out with my friends and be normal because I want to be like everyone else.”
Who would have guessed that Paris Hilton just wants to “be like everyone else?”
