Trump team in full force, responds to Melania plagiarism charge

Melania Trump’s well-received speech at the 2016 GOP convention was quickly overshadowed by allegations of plagiarism.

It didn’t take long before people noticed a passage of Melania’s inspiring speech that sounded strikingly similar to Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 convention.

The accolades that were coming Melania’s way quickly turned into speculation…

Would she? Could she?

Surely she didn’t steal parts of Michelle Obama’s speech. After all, Melania, being an immigrant from a communist nation has quite enough unique material to draw from on her own.

And that’s exactly what the Trump campaign is saying this morning.

Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort, is putting the accusations right back in the Clinton camp’s lap:

Melania had said in interview prior to giving the speech that she had written it mostly herself, but now there are some folks calling on speech writers to be fired.
