When it comes to the left one thing is certain, they do not tolerate dissent from the accepted narrative.
Unfortunately for former NFL superstar Hershel Walker, he is learning this the hard way after coming out in support of Donald Trump.
Walker, who once appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice” and played on the USFL’s New Jersey Generals, a team that Trump owned for two seasons, believes the presumptive GOP nominee is pushing to “get back to what’s best for this country.”
And he’s paying a price for that belief.
Walker told TMZ Sports he’s been dropped from multiple speaking engagements for publicly backing Trump.
“Walker says he started getting axed from speaking gigs — most recently getting canceled from an event in California because organizers were afraid Walker would attract anti-Trump protesters,” the celebrity news website reported.
The former player did not name the groups that dropped him, but did say it has happened several times — he spoke with TMZ Sports about the sad development this week on their show on Fox Sports:
