For anyone paying attention, it comes as no surprise that morbidly obese liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is all for gun control.
It’s also a given that Moore knows little about firearms… a fact he was only too happy to demonstrate when commenting on social media about the ammunition he said was used by the radicalized Islamic gunman in Orlando.
He also claimed “any guy who had shop class” could make a semi-automatic weapon fully automatic in just 5 minutes.
Ammo used in AR-15/M-16 is banned by Geneva Convention. It enters the body, spins & explodes. Show the crime scene photos & the NRA is over.

Any guy who had shop class in high school can change a semi-automatic gun 2 fully automatic in 5min. 4 million "AR-15"/M-16 guns in US homes
— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) June 15, 2016
Looking past a seeming obsession with crime-scene photographs — Moore called on the parents of the children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School to release photos of the victims — the filmmakers lack of knowledge was obvious to social media users who know a thing or two about guns.
And they wasted no time “educating” Moore, beginning with Bearing Arms editor Bob Owens. Here are a few of Owens’ responses:
.@MMFlint You know what is more powerful and causes more damage than an AR-15 bullet, Mike? Damn near any other rifle bullet. (7)
— Bob Owens (@bob_owens) June 15, 2016
.@MMFlint The Hague Conventions cover the use of different kinds of ammunition. Trade a Big Mac for a book sometime. (3)
— Bob Owens (@bob_owens) June 15, 2016
.@MMFlint Here’s an idea, Mike: shut up until you educate yourself. you look (a little) less like a fool and a liar. (10)
— Bob Owens (@bob_owens) June 15, 2016
Hopefully, Moore is as much a glutton for punishment as he is for a cheeseburger because that was just a taste of the criticism that lay in store:

@MMFlint 5.56 is specifically used by NATO countries. What are you talking about?
— mycotechnologst (@mycotechnologst) June 15, 2016
@MMFlint How is it being used today on EVERY ‘legitimate’ battlefield across the globe? You didn’t really think this through, did you? #2A

@MMFlint The most popular round in NATO is banned by the geneva convention? Well, holy crap, we better outfit the hague with stadium seating
— panamaorange (@panamaorange) June 15, 2016
Oh my Lord you are one dumb MF @MMFlint If that was the case moron the military could not use the M-16. Where do you get these delusions?
— Colorado Grandma (@CoFemale) June 15, 2016
@MMFlint There is such ammo, but standard load is 5.56 mm NATO round. Still devastating, but Geneva compliant. Misinformation not helpful.

@MMFlint I used to wonder if you were dropped on your head as a child, now I’m convinced you were dribbled like a basketball.
