Sometimes it’s just better to laugh than to cry. The political landscape has become so contentious it seems that’s where we are at these days.
MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” panel suffered a fit of roaring laughter after watching Ted Cruz’s uncomfortable confrontation with Trump supporters.
It’s hard to know why Cruz attempted to try and sway a group holding Trump signs in Indiana on Monday. Perhaps he thought he could do it, but these guys weren’t in the mood to be wooed. And Cruz’s ill-fated attempt made for little more than morning entertainment.

The panel even complimented the Trump supporter’s impeccable comedic timing as Joe Scarborough took off his glasses to wipe away what looked like tears of laughter.
“Let me point out I’ve treated you respectfully the entire time. And a question everyone here should ask…” Cruz said.
Then the Trump supporter jumped in at just the right moment with, “Are you Canadian?”
Ouch.
Fox Business Network also got in on the laughs when Charles Payne made note of the Trump supporter’s great timing.
“By the way, the guy who was heckling him had great timing,” Payne said with a hearty laugh. “He really did, didn’t he? Every time Cruz paused he threw something in there. He was hitting him over the head. It was perfect.”
Many folks on Twitter were equally amused.

It’s a timing deal. As Scarborogou said, Cruz leaves too many pregnant pauses. But, whatever.
