It would seem Megyn Kelly caved first… or is the bigger, er, woman.
Following reports that she was seen entering Trump Tower in New York City incognito earlier in the day, the Fox News host let the cat out of the bag Wednesday night on “The Kelly File” that she did indeed have a sit-down with Donald Trump.
Kelly also let it be known that an interview with the Republican front-runner is not out of the question.
“The meeting was at my request, and Mr. Trump was gracious enough to agree to it,” she told viewers.
While coy about the details, the meeting likely brings to an end the hottest feud of the 2016 election… or at least a new chapter.
“We met for about an hour, just the two of us, and had a chance to clear the air. Mr. Trump and I discussed the possibility of an interview and I hope we will have news to announce on that soon,” she added.
Kelly concluded the announcement on a light note, joking that the doormen at Trump Tower “appeared a bit stunned when I walked in.”
