Along with thousands expected at Donald Trump’s rally in central Florida on Saturday will be Muslims protesting the Republican presidential candidate.
Trump will be in Orlando ahead of the March 15 primary in the winner-take-all state, and attendance is expected to be high inside the CFE arena. Central Florida Muslims and community leaders are planning to gather “peacefully” across the street in a protest originally organized by University of Central Florida’s Muslim students, reported 90.7 WMFE.
“Central Florida’s Council on American-Islamic Relations has warned them to be vigilant before, during, and after the candidate’s rally,” the station reported.

Arab-American and local community organizer Rasha Mubarak claims Trump’s rhetoric has put Muslims “or anyone that looks Muslim” in danger and has “induced many hate crimes across the country and locally.”
CAIR’s own poll, however, showed that the highest Muslim approval for a GOP candidate is for Trump.
