Bill O’Reilly held nothing back as he tore into Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign, saying that the Democratic hopeful has no chance because his views are too radical for Americans.
In the “Talking Points” segment of “The O’Reilly Factor” Monday, the Fox News host commented on the Democratic debate and the state of the party, noting that Sanders “has no chance of winning because he’s a socialist, and America will NEVER VOTE for a socialist as commander-in-chief.”
“The media loves to mock Donald Trump for dubious things he says,” said O’Reilly. “But Sanders makes Trump look like Abraham Lincoln!”
Pointing to Sanders’ propositions like tuition-free public colleges and free healthcare for all, O’Reilly said that the consequences of Sanders as president, with his “endless freebies,” would “bankrupt [the] nation.”
“If Bernie Sanders were ever elected president, the economy would collapse, companies would flee abroad, and the USA would turn into Venezuela,” O’Reilly said. “That’s why Bernie Sanders will not be president.”
