A Forrest City, Arkansas Waffle House can expect a sudden downturn in business following the release of a video showing two of its employees doing something thoroughly disgusting with equipment used to prepare food.
The two were captured doing their hair on the food-line.
The video was taken by Antonio Robison, a customer in the store, according to FOX 13 Memphis. One employee is seen in the footage dipping her hair into a pot of water, and the other employee helps her wrap it in a towel as she removes it from the saucepan.
Cynthia Millbrooks, who lives nearby, said the incident was “just nasty.”
“Disgusting. Because I don’t like hair in my food,” Millbrooks told Fox 13. “I don’t like hair anywhere where I’m cooking. It’s just nasty.”
Waffle House management told Fox 13 that the two employees have been fired and that the restaurant has been inspected by the local health department.
“We do not tolerate these behaviors and strive to provide a clean, safe environment for all our customers,” the company said in a statement.
