Ann Coulter’s stunning tweet about Nikki Haley after SOTU has tongues wagging

To hear Ann Coulter tell it, the Republican Party’s response to President Obama’s State of the Union, was more of a rebuttal of Donald Trump‘s views than those of the president.

And Coulter recommended Trump to deport the messenger — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Haley gave the GOP’s response and in its finest tradition of pandering to Hispanics, she spoke favorably about immigration before saying, “we live in a time of threats like few others in recent memory.”

“During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation,” the governor said. “No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country.”

A clear reference to Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims entering the United States following the terrorist attack in San Bernardino … at least “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

All of which set Coulter off on social media.

Coulter also noted that the shooters in the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino and Chattanooga “would have passed Haley’s rigorous vetting test.”

If Coulter’s goal was to get attention, as a few suggested, her night was a wild success. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter — good and bad:

It was the GOP surrender speech to give Obama the green light to act like a dictator! Well more like a dictator!

I understand that Nikki is competing with Ryan for Debbie Washyourhair Shultz’s job as DNC chair.

  3. tedlv says:

Who chose this RINO for a “rebuttal” speech? The republican party is dead.

    Yaaay Ann Coulter!

Missy Ann is a national asset. Her astute vision and accurate verbal commentary are phenomenal and always on the mark. She would make a valuable Presidential advisor.

On top of all that that, she’s a hottie.

I used to like Nikki Haley.

i’m really tired of being LECTURED by Obama. Certainly don’t need that crap from the GOP.

All I want to hear from the GOP is how they are going to put the interest of AMERICANS above muslim rapefugees and illegal immigrants by stopping the islamic invasion, and securing the border, and implementing e-verify accross the board, and reducing H-1B unless an employer can PROVE they can’t fill the position.

America needs muslims like a drowning man needs a cinderblock.

I was yelling at the TV while White Teeth was talking: criticizing Trump and Cruz from a SOTUS rebuttal … it just doesn’t get any more pathetic and transparent than that.

Then Charles Kraut came on and lionized Hayley and her speech like she was a reincarnation of Winston Churchill. It was pathetic … like he went stupid all of a sudden and couldn’t figure out who the real targets were in her speech … and that it was truly UNPRECEDENTED for the speaker of the official SOTUS Rebuttal to target that party’s very own political candidates leading the rest of the field!! (Hell, that should count as an in-kind political contribution!!)

But that’s how much the Establishment hates Trump and Cruz: they’d prefer to lose the election that win with them!!

You see, Dems would NEVER do anything like this — they love winning and power too much. They’re not nearly as stupid as Republicans are.

Actually Ms Haley did us a great favor and solidified Mr. Trumps spot as the front runner for President.
I would really like to see Trump win the nomination as an Independant to really stuff it up the rear of the smug ass GOP party which I am for one happy to say I am no longer a member of. I will vote for Trump regardless of the party that puts him up..
