Former Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said that President Barack Obama is the greatest threat to the security of the United States.
When the president announced that he intended to sign additional gun control executive actions to enhance national security, Ginny Simone from NRA News asked Bolton for his thoughts.
Bolton said that more stringent gun control measures won’t solve the problem of mass shootings and terrorism.
“I think the biggest threat to national security is sitting in the Oval Office,” he told Simone. “His priority is not national security. I think to him it’s an afterthought.”
He added that stricter gun control measures will have no effect whatsoever on the terrorists — it would be the law abiding citizens who would suffer.
