No one wears egg on the face quite like Joy Behar.
“The View” host and former comedian made news on Friday for her knee-jerk, over-the-top reaction to a false report by ABC’s Brian Ross that presidential candidate Donald Trump had instructed his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials.
Wow…You can’t deny the reality of #FakeNews. And @BrianRoss is one of the main purveyors. He screwed the pooch on this one and Joy Behar and her cohorts @TheView jumped right in and rolled around in the muck! #MAGA pic.twitter.com/5YCuyIGtE0

Behar would soon find out that the joke was on her when hours later ABC had to retract the “bombshell” portion of its story with the correction that it was president-elect Donald Trump who allegedly instructed Flynn to contact the Russians.
In other words, standard operating procedure.
.@TheView We expect to see an apology from your show's co-host @JoyVBehar today, for humiliating herself on national TV by gleefully spreading @BrianRoss and @ABC fake news about our amazing America First President. pic.twitter.com/pSRSEGewRG

“On Friday’s show, apparently I was guilty of premature evaluation. I hear they have a pill for that,” Behar said on Monday.
Behar read a portion of ABC’s statement about the correction and tried as best she could to cover for network’s colossal “mistake.”
In a statement read on “The View” Monday, ABC News said the report “had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process.”
“It is vital we get the story right and retain the trust we have built with our audience,” the statement read. “These are our core principles. We fell far short of that yesterday.”

Behar’s excuses and attempt to make a joke out of Friday’s embarrassing display did little to quell the backlash she continued to receive on social media:
I see that Joy Behar finally deleted her tweet about Flynn (after keeping it up for 2 days) – gotta milk that fake news for as long as you can, I guess.

Joy Behar, you can delete your Fake News tweet, but it'll never be erased from the internet. And instead of apologizing for your complete arrogance, you have the balls to say you DON'T want our President to succeed? This is why @TheView has Zero credibility #FakeNews #Joke pic.twitter.com/uUwp6mJG0q

Joy Behar JUMPS FOR JOY one day thinking Trump was going down! CRYING the next day When ABC admits Brian Ross LIED about that! TODAY she Admits On ‘The View:’ "I Don’t Want Trump To Succeed!" OF COURSE NOT! That would make your idiot OBAMA look pathetic!

Are Joy Reid and Joy Behar the two most incorrectly named people on earth?

Ha, ha. Good observation! He might be right.
