Egads! Kamala Harris is a fmr attorney general, yet Twitter just had to explain to her the purpose of bail

One would think the former Attorney General of California would know a thing or two about the U.S. Constitution.

Sen. Kamala Harris offered up another seemingly clueless take on the law when she tweeted about the “serious injustice” of bail.

The California Democrat, who is being touted as a potential 2020 presidential candidate, was hammered on social media earlier this month when she took on another “injustice,” slamming Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and essentially robbing men on college campuses of due process when accused of sexual assault.

Earlier this month, Harris also declared that health care was a “civil right.”

The 52 year-old senator may have forgotten some elements of how the legal system works but Twitter users were quick to educate the Democrat on the purpose of bail.
