Here’s what CBS News had to say when ‘busted’ for altering Bannon’s appearance to make him look bad

CBS dismissed as “nonsense” claims that it altered Steve Bannon’s “60 Minutes” appearance despite visual evidence to the contrary.

Professional photographer Peter Duke suggested the network made color adjustments to make the Breitbart News chairman look “like a bleary-eyed drunk” during his  interview with Charlie Rose on “60 Minutes.”

“It seems like 60 minutes would like you to listen less and look more at Steve Bannon. By subtly tweaking the color of the video, they make him look like a bleary-eyed drunk. I show you how they did it,” Duke said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

The Los Angeles-based photographer suggested that CBS increased saturation levels on the video shots of Bannon to make his eyes and lips red. He pointed to curtains that appear a brighter orange behind Bannon than they do in the shot of Charlie Rose.

Duke theorized that Rose was made to look “cooler” to help his makeup “look less clownish,” while Bannon is made “warmer” to highlight or even create the look of blemishes. He then made the adjustments to the photos, reversing the alleged treatment and resulting in a more natural looking Bannon, whom Duke said he has met and looks nothing like the man in the CBS video.

Duke applied the color corrections, which he called “grading closer,” and revealed the more normal looking Bannon.

But CBS refuted the allegations when they were reached for comment.

“It’s nonsense,” a representative for 60 Minutes told Decider.
