It’s all noise meant to discredit Donald Trump and undermine his presidency.

Liberal filmmaker Oliver Stone, who is about to release his four-hour HBO interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said our own president is getting a raw deal from his own intelligence community.

“There’s a thin amount of evidence [of Russian hacking],” Stone said. “It’s been told to us by three agencies – the CIA, the NSA and the FBI. It was told to us in January, a few days before Mr. Trump came into office.”

Stone accused former CIA Director John Brennan of “creating fear and paranoia without evidence in a time during the transition that we trust our leaders,” during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

He believed the president walked into the White House at a disadvantage.

“I’m shocked at what the CIA did and what Brennan did. It seemed like he was very hostile to Trump,” Stone said.

“Trump was, in a sense, slapped in the face with two weeks to go,” Stone said. “This thing is serious. It’s calling Trump, essentially, a ‘Manchurian Candidate.’ That’s as hostile as it’s ever been in a transition.”

And just as Stone was shocked by the intelligence community’s treatment of Trump, viewers were shocked to find themselves agreeing with Stone.
