Fox News hires fmr State Dept spox Marie Harf and viewers are so NOT happy about it! Here’s why . . .

Fox News announced Monday that former State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf has been signed as a contributor and not everyone is thrilled with the decision.

The unlikely pairing caught many off guard, given Harf’s acrimonious relationship with the network over the years, including her taking a pot shot at Bill O’Reilly once on social media.

The venerable Charles Krauthammer likened the Obama administration spinmeister to “Baghdad Bob during the invasion of Iraq.”

Harf has said some head-scratching things over the years, to include saying “a lack of opportunity for jobs” was a “root cause” for people joining ISIS.

We cannot win this war by killing them,” she told MSNBC host Chris Matthews in 2015.

Harf will offer analysis on politics and national security. She made her debut on the network Monday night on Martha MacCallum’s program, “The First 100 Days.”

Based on the reaction on social media, Harf will have to grow on Fox News viewers because they were NOT happy to see her mug on the screen.
