Reporter deletes tweet suggesting Obama would be the perfect person to 'kill' Trump & Pence

A British political correspondent asked if President Barack Obama could “kill” President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, and then pardon himself.

“Could Obama murder Trump and Pence, then Pardon himself?” the British reporter tweeted Wednesday. “Asking for humanity.” Myers quickly deleted the threat.

Myers defended himself, and at one point referred to Trump supporters as “daft” and “entirely humorless.” Twitter users pointed out that maybe it’s not a good idea to joke about killing the incoming president.

Myers said it was a joke, and that it could have been taken out of context. He claimed he just wanted to know if Obama could pardon himself.

LOL guys it’s really not that slow a news day. I was just wondering if the president could pardon himself.
