A Minnesota restaurateur gave the most direct response imaginable to Saturday’s stabbing rampage by a Somali-American at a St. Cloud, Minnesota mall.
He posted a sign on the premises stating in no uncertain terms that he has no use for Islamic terrorists, according to KMSP Fox9 News.

“Muslims Get Out,” the sign says outside Treat’s Family Restaurant in Lonsdale, which lies less than 90 miles southwest of scene of the Saturday night attack that injured eight.
And the sign is the cause of controversy among the town’s fewer that 4,000 residents, some of whom took to protesting outside the business Monday night.
But owner Dan Ruedinger insists race has nothing to do with it.
“I didn’t want to put ‘terrorist’ on the board, so we were going to put ‘Muslim extremist,’ but we didn’t have room on the board,” Ruedinger told the station. “People started taking it the wrong way and thinking we were against Muslims in general and we’re not, quite the opposite. We are not racist.”
The protesters, however, feel otherwise.
“We do have some reactions from people – some positive, some very negative reactions. So the fact that we’re getting negative reactions is a good thing,” Payton Estepp, a protester, said. “It means we’re making people notice us and we’re making a difference out here, which is what we came out to do.”
At one point the local police were called in when one of the demonstrators attempted to remove letters from the sign.
Lonsdale Police Chief Jason Schmitz said Ruedinger had a First Amendment right to post the sign, according to the Lonsdale News Review.
