While the White House continues to slam videos of a feeble President Joe Biden as “cheap fakes,” the Trump campaign shared another of him having a “hard time” getting into a vehicle.
“Here is another ‘cheap fake’ video,” Trump campaign senior advisor Chris LaCivita wrote on X, sharing a video posted by the Trump War Room account on X.
Driving home the reality that Biden’s age and mental capacity will not be things to ignore in the lead-up to the presidential election in November, the video showed the 81-year-old getting an assist as he got into an SUV during a trip to Delaware.
With his stiff gait and mouth slightly open, the president could be seen following behind First Lady Jill Biden as she climbed into the waiting car. Biden then appeared to take longer than needed to fully enter the vehicle as his Secret Service detail stood by.

“Is it ableist to ask why the F Joe Biden can’t even get into a car without help?” asked Trump senior advisor, Jason Miller, on X.
There were no details about the moment other than what could be seen in the video and the footage does not indicate if the president was waiting for his wife to clear the seat so he could enter or if he was actually struggling to get in. But the video showed one Secret Service agent positioning himself closer to Biden, ready to intervene if needed.
The White House continues to claim recent images of the president freezing up, slurring, or physically looking feeble and challenged have been “edited,” and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has blasted the “cheap fakes.” But those with eyes and ears are not convinced as viral clips show a clearly mentally declining commander-in-chief.

“It’s also very insulting to the folks, the viewers who are watching it. And so we believe we have to call that out,” Jean-Pierre said on MSNBC Tuesday. “We’ve been calling it cheap fakes. That is something that came directly from the media outlets in calling it that, the fact-checkers and calling it that. And so we’re certainly going to be really, really clear about that as well. And calling it out from where we are, from where we stand.”
Meanwhile, the latest in bad optics for Biden got plenty of reaction on social media where X users wondered just how long it took him to get in the SUV.
