A young New York City attorney reportedly named Anthony Orlich was fired by his law firm after a video went viral on TikTok showing the aftermath of him snatching a green wig off the head of Lizzy Ashleigh, a 29-year-old Brooklyn black musician, who was enraged by the incident.
Ashleigh posted the video on her TikTok account showing her arguing with the attorney after he allegedly grabbed her wig with her demanding to know why he did it and the lawyer smiling and trying to get away from her.
“Sir! For what f***ing reason?!” the musician yelled at the attorney.
“This man just took off my wig and kept on walking,” she stated in the closed caption of the video. “There’s demons in NY, I swear.”

The attorney’s law firm, Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein, terminated him on Wednesday and made the announcement via LinkedIn. The firm has not confirmed that it is Orlich in the video.
“We have been made aware of a video of a non-work related incident involving one of our associates circulating on social media. We take seriously any inappropriate behavior by any employee, whether inside or outside the workplace. This associate is no longer with the Firm,” the law firm declared, giving the aggrieved musician what she wanted.
The altercation reportedly took place in Midtown Manhattan at West 35th Street and 6th Avenue.
In the original video, the attorney’s friends appear to tell him to apologize to the musician, and he responds, “For what?”
His name is Anthony P Orlich the streets alledge he works as an associate at Leader, Berkon, Coloa and Silverstein LLP. Maybe his bosses want to know. Ftr the guy next to him is asking him to apologize. If I were on a jury I’d conclude that to be verifying his friends guilt.

“For what reason did you take my wig off?” Ashleigh angrily demanded. “What made you think that was the good thing to do? Why’d you do that? What makes you think that that’s OK?”
As the attorney keeps smiling, she told him, “It’s not funny. You don’t even f***ing know me. Do you hate women or something?
In another TikTok video, Ashleigh thanked viewers for getting her story out there and for alerting the man’s law firm. She also noted that while she was wearing the wig, it was sewn into her actual hair, and when he pulled the wig off, she claimed it injured her neck.

The musician filed a report with the police over the incident and has since stopped commenting on it, pending legal action.
“I am unable to say more at the moment as I move forward legally. I appreciate everyone who identified, called, and emailed!” she said in the video.

Police confirmed to the Daily Mail that an assault report had been filed but that they had not yet identified the man who snatched the wig off the woman’s head. They said that Ashleigh had suffered a “minor injury” per her doctor, but no arrests had been made and the investigation was still ongoing.
