Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly ‘freaking out’, fears retaliation after narcing on Cuban inmates

Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is now claiming that she is living in constant fear of being targeted by two violent Cuban inmates that she ratted on after they allegedly tried to extort her in prison.

Asserting that she fears a brutal and possibly deadly beatdown by the Cubans, Maxwell wants a transfer out of the Florida prison where she is serving a 20-year sentence, according to the Daily Mail.

The two inmates were reportedly thrown into solitary confinement for 47 days after Maxwell snitched on them to authorities at FCI Tallahassee for demanding items from her commissary order.

The so-called story goes that Maxwell is “freaking out” because somehow she couldn’t foresee the two Cubans being released back into the general population where they would naturally seek her out for retaliation, according to sources at the low-security Florida prison.

“The first rule of life inside is you never snitch. If you have a problem, you handle it with the other inmate, one on one, usually by fighting. So when the girls got out, Max was freaking out. She basically had a nervous breakdown over it. She even demanded a transfer,” the source recounted.

Max was given the option of self-segregating by going into protective custody. It’s the same as the SHU, the only difference is that it’s voluntary, so she wouldn’t accept that. One of the Cubans has a particular reputation for starting fights and intimidating other inmates. She gets out later this month so Max is praying the guards can keep her safe until then,” the insider added.

The sources contend that Maxwell, 61, is so terrified that she is refusing to use the shower stalls. Evidently, that is where violent encounters tend to take place with razor blades or socks packed with bars of soap.

The accused sex trafficker is now ostensibly being escorted to and from her prison library job every day by a guard. The Cuban inmates who are described as “tattooed, tall, and thick” have been transferred to a different unit. If the story is true, Maxwell can’t be protected forever or at all times, and eventually, the Cubans will presumably get to her and take their revenge.

A source told the Daily Mail, “Las Cubanas have a reputation for being tough and mean inside jail and they don’t let anything slide. They are saying Maxwell needs to pay for the 47. Snitches get stitches, as the saying goes. They will beat her up the first chance they get.”

Maxwell has made other claims from prison and is leveraging her notoriety. But reportedly not everyone is impressed with her and inmates tend to have a special hatred for pedophiles and child abusers.

She is serving a 20-year sentence for pandering young girls to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. But even after being sentenced, Maxwell carried an air of haughtiness into the prison system that the Cubans didn’t care for, reportedly considering her aloof and snobbish.

Maxwell reportedly had an “arrangement” with a kitchen worker who would get the vegetarian extra fruit, vegetables, and tofu. She would trade items bought through the prison commissary store for specialty food.

“When the Cubans discovered what Max was doing, they demanded she spend her entire commissary limit of $360 on things for them otherwise they would report her,” the insider revealed to the Daily Mail. “They even wrote her a note which was a bad idea as Max took that to the Lieutenant’s office as evidence of blackmail. They take that sort of thing very seriously as it’s considered to be threatening someone. The girls each spent 47 days in the SHU and they are super angry about it.”

The Special Housing Unit (SHU) is reportedly a “prison within a prison” and is made up of tiny cells where inmates are housed for 23 hours a day and are fed through a slit in the door.

Maxwell spent 48 hours in SHU after giving an interview to British broadcaster Jeremy Kyle in January. She was released after it was determined that she didn’t make anything off the interview that was recorded on a prison video call.

It is highly unlikely that Maxwell will get transferred and even if the two Cubans don’t get to her, there are plenty more where they came from that can.
