Twitter roars as Jill Biden gives biological male Women of Courage award: ‘Up your game, ladies’

First lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken were thrashed on Twitter Wednesday, as social media users collectively groaned following their presentation of the “Women of Courage” award to a biological male from Argentina on International Women’s Day.

The award ceremony took place at the White House. It honored “11 extraordinary women from around the world who are working to build a brighter future for all,” according to a State Department press release.

Argentinian Alba Rueda was introduced as a “transgender woman who was kicked out of classrooms, barred for sitting for exams, refused job opportunities, subjected to violence, and rejected by her family. But in the face of these challenges, she worked to end violence and discrimination against the LGBTQ plus community in Argentina.”

Both the first lady and Blinken made a show of shaking her hand and kissing her as they smilingly gave a biological man a woman’s award.

Twitter was disgusted by the twisted praise and the act of giving the award to someone who was born a man but was inexplicably being lauded as a courageous woman.

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-Ark.) snarked, “It’s International Women’s Day – a good time to remember that Democrats can’t even tell you what a woman is.”

“Nice of FLOTUS to encourage the diminishment of women on ‘international women’s day.’ Erasing women is abusive,” Dana Loesch, host of “The Dana Show” scathingly remarked.

“Apparently men are a lot better at being women than women are. Step up your game, ladies,” Townhall columnist and radio personality Derek Hunter hilariously urged.

“Why are the Democrats working overtime to push the trans agenda?” news commentator and former congressional nominee Karoline Leavitt wondered.

RedState columnist Buzz Patterson noted, “Nothing screams ‘International Women of Courage Award’ like a dude.”

“This is disgraceful and unacceptable!” Republican National Hispanic Assembly national editorial board member and podcaster Jennifer Barreto-Leyva asserted.

According to Fox News: “Rueda currently serves as Argentina’s Special Envoy for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship. The State Department said Rueda had actively campaigned to change the name of the National Women’s Conference to the ‘Plurinational Conference of Women and Lesbian, Cross-Dresser, Transgender, Bisexual, Intersex, and Non-Binary Persons’ to include diverse, dissident, and racialized identities.”

The transgender activist has stridently pushed woke policies in her country, including the Transgender Labor Quota Act, which requires 1% of public sector jobs in the nation to be staffed by people who identify as transgender. She also served as Argentina’s undersecretary for diversity policies in the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity as well as founded the group Argentina Trans Women.

The award was first presented in 2007. International Women’s Day originated with socialists in the early 20th century. Communist nations such as the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China were among the first countries to recognize the holiday, according to the Daily Wire.

Twitter simply hammered Biden and Blinken over the award:
