Sam Smith’s ‘Perfect Magazine’ debut ‘looks like if the Christmas turkey was woke’

Award-winning non-binary singer-songwriter Sam Smith is causing another stir by posing for “Perfect Magazine” and his body image fetish has set social media ablaze, fresh off his hellish appearance at the Grammys performing “Unholy” for his acolytes.

The British artist made controversial less-than-appealing poses for the cover of the magazine. Causing many to wonder exactly what the publication’s version of “perfect” is.

The shots were pictured on Twitter by Pop Culture. They depict Smith wearing a corset with strings and the singer appearing to mimic the “Rosie the Riveter” poster from World War II, minus the patriotic message, while looking as if he’s pregnant. Smith also goes by they/them pronouns which is massively confusing.

“Sam Smith looks amazing for PERFECT Magazine,” the tweet contended, causing a firestorm to erupt.

Smith has previously spoken about struggling with his weight and body image. The new images have evidently reignited the debate about fatphobia and body diversity. Some called the shoot “extremely iconic.”

Not everyone thought so by a long shot on Twitter.

Director/producer Robby Starbuck tweeted, “Disgusting is a better description.”

Former US House candidate for Arizona Josh Barnett remarked, “#HotMess #LiberalismIsAMentalDisease.”

He also posted a shot to his Instagram page. The cringe pic shows the binary singer tied up with red ribbons, wearing high heels, latex gloves, and laying on his stomach. He captioned it, “HONEY ROASTED SAM.”

As outrageous as many felt the magazine shoot was, it pales in comparison to Smith’s “Satanic” Grammy Awards performance which featured him dressed as the devil with red lights and devil horns while hellish subjects cavorted and worshipped around him.

Despite Smith’s extroversion, there are many out there who really, really wish he would stick to singing instead of exposing the world to his weird predilection for odd, unflattering clothing, or lack thereof:
