CBS called out after cowardly deleting ‘ready to worship’ tweet touting demonic Grammys performance

It’s not surprising that CBS would delete a tweet that was widely seen as a display of excitement over the prospect of a Satan-worshipping performance featured at this year’s Grammy Awards — CBS has hosted the event for 50 years.

The repugnant, sexually charged satanic performance featured Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who underwent gender mutilation surgery at 16 and considers himself a woman, with the duo performing their best pop duo/group performance-winning song “Unholy.”  Smith, who says he’s nonbinary, teased the stunt ahead of time in a tweet, “This is going to be SPECIAL.” He included a devil emoji to ensure there was no confusion about what he was talking about.

CBS responded to that tweet thusly, “….you can say that again. We are ready to worship!”

As reported Monday by BizPac Review, Sen. Ted Cruz responded to the blasphemous display in a tweet, “This…is…evil.”

Yet, CBS felt compelled to promote the performance that was aired in prime time — at least, until the blowback became too much to endure.

The tweet appears to have been deleted without comment, which is not to say that the network did not celebrate the “show-stopping” satanic worship afterward:

By the way, the 65th Grammy Awards hosted by Trevor Noah was brought to you by Pfizer:

Not that the Big Pharma giant felt it had any explaining to do.

“We sponsored the overall Grammy’s event, not any particular performance. Beyond that, we don’t comment on our efforts to raise awareness,” a Pfizer spokesperson told Newsweek.

As for CBS, the network was eviscerated online for embracing the demonic performance… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
