MSNBC host Joy Reid made the outrageous and clearly false assertion that Democrats are the only ones who “accept the results when they lose,” apparently forgetting a number of high-profile leftist politicos who have done the exact opposite.

Following President Biden’s divisive “Saving Democracy” speech on Wednesday, Reid proceeded to praise the Democrat Party as the only one which never contests election results. The pants-on-fire claim was stunning.
“The ReidOut” host sat down with Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) to discuss Biden’s tyrannical message that admonished Americans to not ever question election results. Reid hilariously said the speech was “appealing to all Americans regardless of party.”
“It seems to me to be a problem that the only person who felt the need to give a national address to call upon Americans to do something that seems pretty basic, to accept the results of elections, that it’s coming from the leader of the party that already does accept elections, right? That already does accept the results when they lose. Hillary Clinton did that already, you know, President Obama called Donald Trump when he became his successor. He even said he wasn’t happy about it, but he did it,” Reid said.
In 2019, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton charged that the 2016 election was “stolen” from her. Her campaign also took part in promoting the Russia collusion hoax against former President Trump, insinuating that Trump had worked with Vladimir Putin to rig the election.

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams infamously claimed that she won the 2018 election against current Gov. Brian Kemp. In September, members of “The View” praised her for initially refusing to concede.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also claimed previously that both Trump and Kemp had “stolen” their election wins. There have been many other Democrats as well who have said similar things.
Pleading for election integrity SHOULD be a cause that all Americans embrace. It does NOT equate to denying elections. Guess which party does not support cleaning up voting rolls, certified votes, and safe results? Ain’t us.

“Do you see the problem being that there isn’t anyone on the Republican side saying similar things, I think Mike Pence did a tweet, but there’s no one with any moral gravitas who can compel the other side, who’s saying anything like this?” Reid asked Raskin.
Raskin in turn slobbered all over Biden’s speech and claimed it was directed at all Americans. Biden and the Democrats keep claiming the speech was unifying but it was incredibly divisive.
“I think that’s why Joe Biden wanted to speak this evening, not as the head of the Democratic Party but rather as the president of the nation and the leader of the executive branch. And I think he struck the right tone for that,” Raskin laughably asserted.
President Biden is trying to divide and deflect at a time when America needs to unite—because he can’t talk about his policies that have driven up the cost of living.

Republicans certainly don’t see it that way.
“Joe Biden promised unity but has instead demonized and smeared Americans while making life more expensive for all,” Ronna Romney McDaniel, who is the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, emphatically stated according to Fox News. “While Republicans remain focused on the issues that matter most to voters, Biden and Democrats are flailing in the final days because they have lost touch with the concerns of families struggling to get by.”
