Former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson Jr. has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a $30 million Hollywood mansion, ransacked it, and then outrageously bathed with soap in an outdoor fountain on August 24.
Wilson Jr. reportedly broke into the home a second time and caused damages upwards of $5,000. The former NFLer was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department and charged with two counts of felony vandalism and one count of second-degree burglary on both occasions, according to TMZ Sports.
There are evidently no ties between Wilson, the property, or the homeowners.
This isn’t Wilson Jr.’s first run-in with the law. He attempted to break into another home in Portland, Oregon while naked and was shot in the abdomen for it in 2016.

When he was sentenced for the 2016 attempted break-in, Wilson Jr. was forced to go through drug treatment. He got 10 days in jail plus three years probation. He also had to pay restitution for damages to the home and write an apology letter.
He was arrested for taking a nude stroll around a Portland neighborhood in 2017. Five days later after sentencing, Wilson Jr. was arrested for breaking into another home while sans apparel.
He’s obviously had a rough life since playing his final NFL season in 2007.
The cornerback was drafted by Detroit in the third round of the 2005 draft. He only played for two seasons before ripping his Achilles and ending his career. Wilson recorded a career total of 89 tackles, eight pass deflections, and one forced fumble.
He is the son of former NFL running back/fullback Stanley Wilson Sr. who had a cocaine addiction and had his own run-ins with the law.
The father relapsed the night before his team’s Super Bowl matchup with Joe Montana’s San Francisco 49ers in 1989. Coach Jim Anderson caught him in the bathroom getting high on cocaine twenty minutes after he told teammates that he was grabbing his playbook before a team meeting. His son appears to have followed in his father’s infamous footsteps.
The Bengals’ former coach Sam Wyche partially blamed Wilson Sr. for their 20-16 defeat because the team had to keep him off the Super Bowl roster. The senior Wilson was banned from the NFL for life because it was his third violation of the league’s drug policy. He went from bad to worse and was sentenced to 22 years in prison for burglary in 1999.
There was little sympathy for Wilson Jr. on social media.
