The White House announced that a twice-vaccinated, twice-boosted President Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 which immediately prompted “President Harris” to trend on Twitter.
“This morning, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced via a statement on Thursday.
“He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid. Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time. He has been in contact with members of the White House staff by phone this morning, and will participate in his planned meetings at the White House this morning via phone and Zoom from the residence,” the statement continued.
“Consistent with White House protocol for positive COVID cases, which goes above and beyond CDC guidance, he will continue to work in isolation until he tests negative,” Jean-Pierre added. “Once he tests negative, he will return to in-person work.”
It was one year ago today that Biden said this quote: "You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations."

“Out of an abundance of transparency, the White House will provide a daily update on the President’s status as he continues to carry out the full duties of the office while in isolation,” she asserted.
All of this the day after a gaffe where Biden claimed to have contracted cancer because of an oil refinery near his home. There was a clean-up on aisle Biden immediately.

The White House Medical Unit swung into gear per protocol concerning any positive case at the White House. The team will inform anyone that came into contact with the president during the day on Thursday that he has tested positive. That includes members of Congress and the media who came in contact with Biden while traveling on Wednesday, according to the statement.
And now that Biden has COVID, “President Harris” began trending on Twitter.

Biden was just tested for the virus on Tuesday but that one came up negative, the White House claimed.
The president is not alone. According to The Hill, it seems like everyone is getting COVID right now.
“BA.4 and BA.5, both subvariants of the highly contagious omicron, make up more than 90% of new cases in the country, according to tracking done by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” the media outlet reported.
The new variants are evidently better equipped to avoid immunity according to the so-called experts.
“Early evidence suggests BA.4 and BA.5 aren’t more contagious than the original strain of omicron. However, it appears they are better at evading prior immunity,” The Hill noted. “That means people with some immunity – either from vaccines or past COVID infection – are still susceptible to infection from BA.5.”

“Plus, it’s been more than six months since our last major national surge of the first omicron variant. People infected in that wave may likely have gotten some boosted immunity, but that window has passed for most of us,” The Hill reported.
“The good news is that the vast majority of breakthrough infections now are outpatient illnesses,” Dean Blumberg, UC Davis Children’s Hospital’s chief of pediatric infectious diseases, contends. “They are not resulting in the kind of severe illness that we saw earlier in the pandemic when no one had immunity, which led to increased hospitalizations and deaths.”
It’s interesting that all over the media and on the left that before Biden was diagnosed with COVID, it was the end of the world. Now, it’s just not that serious, folks.
